Hi everyone I was going to purchase the seiko SJE093J1 new release and I was willing to pay £600 over retail which was £3200 totaling £3800 off ebay only one left I could find,and I know to all the haters yes that money for a seiko 🙄🤣but something just didn't let me do it,I found a seestern mod on ebay with oem dial thought why not looks the part it came and even though its not left my wrist I wasn't completely happy with the case shape and definitely not the strap,I did a post and asked crunchers if a mod can fill the void the general consensus was no,and even though I agreed because I wasn't totally happy with it I decided I will make it more than fill the void,so san martin case wow massively impressed think I'm going to buy a few san Martins after this well done,strap code waffle amazing well worth the money and another feature about the watch I love spikes looks hard as nails 😂and oem signed crown,have I gone over the top or is striving for perfection the answer to cure the itch we will see thanks for reading if you got here,hope it goes well my first mod attempt looking forward to wearing and showing you all,ps saved £3300 🙄😬👌

If you feel up to the task, I bet you could drop in that movement + OEM dial into the SM case. They probably both use an NH35 and probably both have similar 28.5mm dimensions.
The bezel and bezel insert definitely look sharper on the SM. 👍

That's hopefully my plan my friend new to this so trial and error I'm not in a rush not like I'm short of a watch to wear 🙄😂hoping this to be the start of something bigger I'd love to be able to actually make a watch,want to learn how to put movements together and polishing and engraving,then instead of spending all my money on watches I can spend it all on making them 🙄🤣

Detaching the crown and stem from an NH35 movement to remove the movement from the case and make the swap is an easy step. Plenty of videos on YouTube if you want to give it a try. 👍
Modding watches is amazing indeed. Being able to assemble your perfect watch from different OEM and aftermarket parts to create your vision and have a one-of-a-kind watch is very exciting!

Watched to many my friend 🙄😂ill still probably have one playing next to me while I'm doing it though,I know really looking forward to this next journey I'm happy with the watches I've got think one more GS in the future other than that my partners getting a custom creation after mines finished,and thanks for the advice my friend always welcome👌
