With such a design that I would categorize as part of the "Tuna Can" family, these are meant to be large. But, they don't have to wear and feel large.. quite the opposite. The same general tricks in the case construction exist here as with all "Tuna Can" style watches from Seiko. The L2L rarely exceeds the case diameter which is still within reason at around 47-48mm in most cases. Even if over, as such with this Ana-digi Tuna, the lugs angle down really well and they underhang the case so there is no gap or jutting out. A really good fit for even very modest sized wrists.. I yield that maybe if you have extreme case this may not work so well. But, I think a greater variety of wrist size can adapt to wearing this watch and other classically sized Tuna style watches with no problems.
FYI, for me, the crowns never snag on anything more do I ever feel them pushing against my wrist, arm or back of hand. Way less intrusive that they may visually appear.
Glad I have a supply of 22mm straps around. A sweet smelling Bonetto Cinturini Model 319 black Italian rubber strap on my Seiko Prospex SNJ033.

Very informative. I always thought they looked great but worried about the size.
It looks like a 36mm watch on Arnie's wrist:
It's a big watch that's small for it's size?

I would say they don't wear all that differently from a lot of G-Shocks. And, depending on the G-Shock, may actually wear better than.
For me, it's a simple matter of a little time for proportion acclamation. If all I've been wearing lately has been relatively conservative and like 39-41mm, the immediate difference may be a little jarring. But, give it a good day or so and forget about wh as t else I have, it all begins to look and feel just fine on the wrist. Idk, maybe that's just me.

If you've never experienced a Tuna or something like it in actuality, u may never really know or understand. Once u have actually tried, it may open up the world of possibilities which can be even more fun and eye opening watch experience. Just my take on this general style of watch from Seiko.

True. But, Idk what's more realistic? Expecting everyone to be built like Arnold to be able to wear such a watch? Or, that Seiko knows how to make proper dive watches that have time and time again shown specs don't equal true wearability.. the latter part being their watches are truly more wearable than not because of their expertise in case construction.

I got the Arnie Reissue when it came out and now I got the Marine Master Tuna. I just wondered if that was a good description 😅

Think it's a joke about how that big watch looks small on the Terminator..
