Tegimented Thursday - U50 S BS style
Tegimented Thursday with a new acquisition, the Sinn U50 S BS. I really wanted one about 1.5-2 years ago when they were released. Just couldn't afford one since I had just bought a Sinn 103 Klassik 12. Thought all 500 limited editions were sold out back then. I guess not as they recently released what I believe is the final and remaining units. Had to get one this time and so glad I did. Are these a US limited edition release? Regardless... I love the finely grained matte blue gradient dial that is relatively subdued, but pops out nicely enough against the all black coated fully tegemented case, bezel and bracelet.

That's a cool looking watch! The hands are a tad too 'blocky' for my personal taste - but they do fit the watch very well. And that dial is indeed absolutely awesome.
Excellent pictures to capture the blue dial. I also bought an unworn box and papers Sinn U50 S BS (281/500), which arrived Monday afternoon. I’m smitten with it. The dial is smaller in person than in the pictures which gives it an even more charming appeal (to my subjective eye).
I also fell in love with it last year (when I became aware of it) and was finally able to get one. Feels like a mini instrument gauge on the wrist. I absolutely love it. Enjoy yours!

They do have an AD in US. WatchBuys. That's it. Still, the only way you could see one in person is when they used to do the road shows and come into select cities with their inventory at a hotel or someplace. It was an invite only thing you had to register to be able to get into for security purposes.
Just wish they had more than the one AD with a boutique or actual retail store you could go in and look at this stuff in person.

Ah yes, WatchBuys - which I’m familiar with and think their customer service is excellent. Sorry, I meant actual storefronts/brick&mortar. Here’s hoping Sinn participates again in road shows but until then, this beauty is in my crosshairs 🤙
