Glycine Airman Vintage 'The Chief' GL0303 & Blue Sailcloth Strap

My Glycine Airman Vintage GL0303 rotation back up this Sunday. Strap pairing is with a blue sailcloth strap with steel stitching from Brady Straps. I find the blue color used somewhat unique. Have not seen a sailcloth strap with this tone of medium blue that has a hint of grey in it. Overall, I find it compliments the radiant anthracite  grey dial and blued handset.

Looks awesome.

I wasn't aware that The Chief came with a GMT movement. I thought they were all "Purist".

I think that strap looks swell on it..you're right, it's a good match for the grey dial...mine says hello..

No, they offer both Purist and GMT versions for most Airman models. Sometimes a 3rd option.. as such those just have standard 12 hour with 12 hour bezel. Usually called the "Double 12"

Glycine is a cracker of a watch. I got the bronze worldtimer myself. It’s my “travel watch” so it hasn’t seen much more than the box as of yet….
