Just got this update from the Pitzmann email mailing list a sneak preview of the Pitzmann III, a mechanical chronograph
The specifications:
- Diameter: 40mm (41mm with the Bezel)
- Lug to Lug: 47.5mm
- Thickness: 13.25mm
- Movement: SEIKO Caliber 8R48 (NE88)
- Glass: Sapphire. Double-sided AR coating
- Water Resistance: 50m
- Power Reserve: 45 hours
Pricing (early bird = $1299, reg = $1499)

If I'm able to spend four digits on a single watch this year, the ice blue variant of this (love the matched date wheel!) or the Venezianico Bucintoro Tricompax Reverse Panda (sporting the same movement) are the most likely candidates.

Just seems like an odd choice for a watch over $1000. I know you can get a good fit with the 3/4ths links, but my wrist changes throughout the day.

What do you want to know? It is as pretty as the pictures and the price is hard to beat. I was able to get a great fit with the bracelet as they have half links. It has a solid caseback, so I didn’t post any pictures of it. I have only taken the watch off 3 times since I got it.
