Helping my daughter make ornaments for her classmates & teacher
We’ve had a huge bag of popsicle sticks sitting around for a while, so I thought it would be fun for her and I to make everyone in her small class their own unique but simple snowflakes.
Of course, while we were searching some ideas online she saw the snowmen and wanted to do that instead. Dang. A little more tedious than I was thinking but what the heck. Plus, now I don’t have to deal with glitter. Off to a few stores to get everything we needed.
After a few days of admitted procrastination on my part, we finally finished last night before bed. Just in time to take them to school today!
I had to take my watch off a few times because the Gorilla glue was getting a bit out of control. Thank goodness I remembered to lay down some cardboard on the kitchen table. My wife would have killed me. Shout out to her for cutting the carrot noses and hats for us.
I still have some fingers stuck together but we had fun and it was definitely worth it! Happy Friday and Merry Christmas, WC.
(Oh, yeah… and she told me this morning that she wants to make a snowman for everyone at church, too. There goes my weekend!)

Thanks, man! Appreciate that. I try. Fatherhood can be tough sometimes but it’s also the greatest and most rewarding thing I’ve ever done. Gonna miss these moments!
