I am intrigued that some of the new reissue seiko watches are rumoured to have undecorated versions of the GS movement.
This would represent great value and a high probability of extremely valuable watches becoming even more valuable than anything that's come before.

I'm not sure if that is true, but I know Seiko does put GS movements in some of their watches. The Marinemaster 300 is one such watch, the 55th anniversary series is another. Neither of those are super cheap to buy.
