I've never seen a blue dialed one. These are so beautifully understated. I assume that TGV called it "pure class" and in this instance I agree with him.
Although honestly, there are other oval watches (I'm sure Omega made at least one) and I'd be hard pressed to find a substantial difference.

I believe blue were the very first generation ones and other colours came later. It hinged off of some innovative process to blue the solid gold dial.
the one I have bought is from 1969 - after the watch was introduced in 1968.
Sadly I don’t own one, but that’s a great looking watch.
