Win my fantasy football league, buy a new old watch!
Hey guys, just wanted to show off my first vintage purchase. This 1971 Longines Ultra Chron features a cushion style case with a beautiful clean dial in 14k solid gold. I have been falling on love with 60/70s Longines watches for the last year so it seemed like the perfect time to jump in.
It definitely feels so much smaller than my other pieces measuring in at 35mm. But I love the chunky lugs and the case is in great condition.
I also love the heritage of the Ultra Chron family. High beat, high precision watches that fought head to head against the quartz value prop.
What do you guys think?

Congratulations (on the cool new watch). That's why I need to win my fantasy league (to get a new watch/ though my wife may have other ideas given the amount of suffering I have put her through for my "imaginary" football team).

I think that every time I convince myself to stop looking at vintage watches and just save up for something new some joker like you comes along with a beautiful vintage watch and I disappear back down the rabbit hole for another month.
I currently don't have a Longines in my collection, but you've made it obvious I need one!
