Hello everyone!
This Citizen started it for me. I was looking for a good every day watch, something casual. I wanted the ONE watch, I would wear every day. I bought this Citizen leading up to my vacation to Disney World, I wanted to wear this watch while I was there. Which I did and I enjoyed it.
Then once I came back home, it just spiraled out of control and I needed a dress watch, a green dialed watch, a digital watch, and so on and now I'm here.
I’ve been collecting for almost 4 years now. Over the past couple of years I’ve reduced the collection from 24 to 8.

Hello, been collecting for about 4 years. Nowhere near an expert, I still feel like I learn something new about watches nearly every day. Just enjoying the ride.

Thanks, I sold that Citizen awhile ago, but I definitely enjoyed my time with it. I will share my collection soon!
Hey justwatchingaround, welcome to the group. Nice citizen watch. I’ve recently just increased my appreciation for citizen watches. Before I only had their night Hawk watch but lately I’ve come to admire alot of their other watches as well. how did you ever manage to reduce your collection so much? Did you have any criteria about what to keep and sell?
Welcome aboard. I have a Citizen EcoDrive that was my daily wear for about two years, many years ago. It’s gotten a new strap since then and still looks great. Hope you get good wear from yours.

It just felt like the right time to consolidate. I would not force it or you could end up regretting it. Main goal was to keep the variety going with 8 watches that I had with 24. So looked at my white dialed, black dialed, and colorful dialed watches and picked my favorites out of each category. It all worked out in the end and I feel much more connected to my 8 than I ever did with 24.
