Wondering about patina?

Bought this BB 925 and it only occurred to me now that (pure) silver gets a patina after a while.

Wondering if this will be the case with aluminum as the mix instead of steel?

Any other owners of this watch noticing patina?

It will tarnish. Tudor seems to imply it will not, but it’s been documented by many owners. Here’s a video about what to expect: https://youtu.be/RUGqJWn5Qx8

ahh yeah thats what i figured. thanks for that

It bummed me out because the taupe dial makes this the best looking BB58 before tarnishing.  If this version were purely stainless steel, I would have purchased over the gilt BB58 (although I have been absolutely smitten with the gilt version).

It will get a patina, I think soft cloth polishing will help. No cleaning solution, but it seems to keep the finish looking even on silver alloy items. With that, I don‘t mind patina, but that’s a personal choice.
