Leathercrafter asking advice

Hi!

I work with leather in Venice and between the other things I love making watch straps. I made a ton of them for my watches, like the zeppelin in the picture which I got recently and absolutely adore!

The thing is, as much as I love watches and making straps for them I really can't find people interested in the topic around. Do you guys have a better idea on how to get better at finding the right people?

Also, what you guys think is the coolest type of leather strap? I recently tried making the bund strap, but I was also looking to make remborded straps because they're definitely uncommon, and also others with more expensive leather like cordovan.

It would be cool to hear some opinions on the topic from various geeks from the internet!

I love seeing different types of straps. They can change the entire feel of a watch. Maybe jump on Instagram to find a targeted audience for your straps.

Definitely agree, changing straps i saw how much a watch can look and feel different! I could also work better around the socials to find someone as you say

Yeah the relief on the leather surely gives an extra look with different lights, still didn't make one of them for my watches, as there are a ton of different stampings, i will have to someday

Thanks for the kind words!!
