Seiko Mod is On Point!

I am loving this new Seiko Mod I just picked up. I was just looking through a large volume of Seiko Mods and found this and loved it. I only realized a week after I received it that other than the Seiko name it is the same looking watch as this Rolex. I'm not going to let the fact that it was made purely to imitate this Rolex diminish my enjoyment. On the positive side I didn't have to wait however many months for it and was approximately $14000 less expensive. Love to hear everyone's thoughts both on the watch and whether or not you think it crosses any lines.

So it’s neither a true Seiko nor a true Rolex, just infringes on both of their IP.

What I don’t get is why leave the markings (Seiko or Rolex) on the dial if you’re just making a homage/clone?

Especially when Seiko has legit divers of their own design.

These are some questions. Since I didn't make the watch IDK. I'm not upset by it however.

Right. And I’m not saying you should be. I just don’t get the adding the Seiko name to it. Clearly, it’s meant to be a Rolex clone. I just don’t see the added value of adding Seiko to it.

*Waiting for a lengthy discussion on the topic of homage watches*
