Beautiful piece! Yes, MB is definitely underrated. I remember when they first started up. I was just getting into watches and it seems microbrands get more credibility as watchmakers than MB does. Obviously, I support the brand and I do think people will begin to take notice on how accomplished they are.
The history of Montblanc is little bit complicated as they started as Minerva in 1858 but Montblanc itself was founded in 1906. Only in 1997 they "ufficially" started the production of Montblanc watches in Le Locle. So yes, it is still a "microbrand" with a huge heritage 😜
I have seen several pics of the Star World GMT, and I'm still not sure: are the digits on the dial applied or printed?

It looks pretty much a clone, apart from some small variations on place names on the dial. Interestingly, "Honolulu" has been replaced by "Hawai" (in this spelling).
