What is your experience with watch service by different brands? For a Montblanc Star World GMT complication I was waiting 4 months ... For Tag Heuer SLR (Quartz but unique movement) I was waiting 1 month ...

Just an aside here…
Watch repair shops are drying up, even in metropolitan areas. I found one nearby and took Swiss Legend quartz diver there when it died, and a new battery didn’t solve the problem. The “watchmaker” had it a week, then told me he couldn’t fix it. It had to be sent back to the company.
I bought a new movement from Esslinger for $12 and did the work myself. Makes you wonder, doesn’t it?
