Orient and Orient Star are world-renowned Japanese watch brands, loved for their unique, stylish and high-quality watches for over 70 years.
… and the Kamasu is now the “Vintage” and the Mako’s are numeric free, and all the prices are — well, about double what you would expect. I don’t think Amazon are gonna lose sales.
On the other hand, I am pro a few name changes, and am a little bit hyped to see an official store/presence here, as I really like their watches. Who knows, maybe my watch now has a bit more product support, even if it’s not officially sold here.
I do think they’re gonna need to look at that pricing though, and I will have a shufti to see if they sell accessories, as that would be fun.
But yup… Orient people, the express has arrived.

Started my mod journey with the Mako and Rays, have a love hate thing for um. That being said, I really like the new silver dial Mako. Got the sapphire crystal now, which is awesome, if they would only change that bracelet 😉
They don't seem to stock any of the models I like tbh.
I would really like to see the newer 12/6/9 dials in there, but they seem to be going with the slightly higher end stuff even in the Orient section. It’s early days though.
An official UK site has got to be a good thing even if their prices are a bit barmy!

I hear they are opening a store too, but can’t remember where I read that.
That too would be good news! I wonder what Tus watches think of these developments? Their prices are still pretty reasonable.

I always wondered about them, because their contact address is literally a gmail — I suspect they will have to level up a bit, but I also suspect until now Amazon had probably been the main source of sales here.
I have to admit, I might take a wander to the store at some point, if it’s a thing. I have never really gone to any form of boutique.

I've bought a Kamasu and a Ray 2 from TUs. I've heard good stuff about their customer service and several of the you tube blokes including Relative Time have recommended them.

Oh I wasn’t making a slight on them, just that with the ‘official official’ online store opening, they will need to tighten up their web presence to present a more polished customer experience.
