Display backs aren't a priority for me, since I don't buy watches with truly luxe movements. But I don't mind when makers put in extra effort. Here, Wise has decorated with a range of pattern and texture: sandy, glittery, rigid stripes. When viewed through an overall Damascus pattern, it works well:
Simple overall, the etched geometric lines and bold logo leap out of the Tissot Visodate's mirror caseback. I prefer their more modern designs, but goddamn I love that vintage logo version:
The Zelos Aurora Ti sees the previous relief 🦘 and raises a whole ⛵. Fantastic nod to the spirit of exploration:
