Rolex datejust palm motif
So a few months ago I put an order in for a datejust 36 (still waiting not my photo btw) I was just wondering what kind of wait times some of you have experienced. I’ve gone into my local AD and have actually seen watches for sale. Nothing crazy a couple lady datejusts and op’s and a two tone datejust 41. Have any of you been able to purchase anything recently?

A few days ago I stop by Rolex Store for an Air King. The sales person toll me I have to put my name on the list. I noticed 2 watches were on Display but neither one was for sale (display Only) that’s what she told me. May be because I was wearing my work uniform that’s what my coworker told me 🤦♂️. So I walk out and call my Girls Dealer. I’m picking my new 2023-126900 Air King tomorrow Saturday………lol 🤣

I waited on that exact date palm for about 6 months. Then I kinda got over the design after seeing it in person a couple of times. Asked for the green dial without the palm as I thought that would be a lot more wearable and within 2 weeks I got mine.
Had my name down for an op 41 for couple of years and it just got further and further away when ever I inquired
I changed my mind on wanting one eventually 2 months ago decided to get a grand seiko and when I filled in all the details the lady said do you want to have the OP today as well or would I be intreseted in a different model.
I just laughed and explained I’d spent all my money on on the GS and I was over the moon with it
I didn’t pursue what else they had but the stock on some models are coming back for sure now the grey dealers aren’t offering huge profits to the flippers

So originally I had my name down for a rhodium dj41 then I changed my mind and one of the older sales associates asks me if I want to put in an order for a different one she then sat down and configured one with me

I have noticed grey market prices starting to go down, what OP did they end up offering you?

I was thinking about asking for this one but I think I like how the palm dial is exclusive to only 36mm model 😅
