[REQUEST] Help me find a watch

I’m looking for a watch like this Orient, that has a green and red bezel with a black dial. Do any of you know of any? Preferably entry level ($500 or less)

I don’t know about a watch, but you may have good options searching mod parts. A quick search showed some red/green inserts. Seiko SKX and some Orients have a fair number of mod parts sources.

I really know zero about modding and all of that. I’m just getting into watches.

Outside of Gucci (secondhand to keep it in the price range), your best bet is to just buy a third-party Seiko bezel and do some modding.

The latter isn't as Christmassy as you'd probably like though.

I hadn’t thought of modding. Maybe that’s something I could look into but I know nothing about it lol guess my next stop is to google Seiko mods lol

Changing bezels is pretty simple as long as you buy the correct size. Most of them are only stuck on with double-sided tape, and you can loosen it with heat or isopropyl then lever it out with a wooden cocktail stick. The replacements usually have new double-sided tape attached underneath too.

Thanks!

Is there a reputable site people get mods from? Or do people just go to Temu and Ali Express?

Mark from Long Island Watch has a video posted where he shows using golf club or tennis racket grip tape removal liquid. Some of that in a small cup with the watch face down in it (just the face not submerging the case) and the tape under the bezel just dissolves away making it easy to pick off the old bezel. Then a little cleaning and the new one goes on with tape that is likely pre-applied on the bezel you buy.

Not red and green, but I bought this orange and green for my son and it’s badass.
