Seiko Brand 100th Anniversary Kintaro Hattori Limited Edition - Thoughts
This upcoming release looks pretty good to me. The 11mm lugs might make getting a new strap difficult. I like the enamel dial and Arabic numerals style they picked. The hands look GREAT.

At least make it a 12mm, there's straps, even bund type straps for that in the marketplace.
Seiko seems to be ditching the things that makes people want to buy their watch. *Sighs*
I love that style...should be manual wind....unimpressive movement for 2k
I’m digging the recreation. The Breguet style numerals better complements the overall aesthetics but is a bit removed from the original Laurel watch. I know it’s a different piecec, but the recreation modernizes it. I got to see the original Laurel on a recent trip to Japan and snapped the below pic.

I just looked it up. A tribute to the very first watch that says Seiko on the dial, from 1924. Very cool!
