I keep adjusting mine each month, knowing that this month I'm spot on!

Easiest way to get a good pic is take the watch outdoors in the shade or indoors with window light and no electric lights turned on nearby.

I found a moon phase tracking calendar on line that tells the count from full and new moons. I am trying to remind it. https://www.almanac.com/astronomy/moon/calendar
