NA / Needed a bit of summer in my life! Enter the Scurfa Treasure Seeker
Now I wasn’t planning on getting a new watch (actually had deliberately postponed any new acquisitions to next year) but having this really dreary and wet summer had me scouring the internet for a fun, yellow dial watch. Just something to remind me that there IS actually something warm and shiny behind those grey clouds. After a bit of research I stumbled on the Scurfa - a microbrand founded by Paul Scurfield, a professional diver. The original Scurfa Diver One which also comes in yellow is a fine watch as well, but i think the Treasure Seeker is better looking - and an automatic (Miyota 9015)! Other key specs:
41mm x 49mm x 20mm
Double domed sapphire crystal with ARC on the underside
300m ~ 1000ft WR
120 click unidirectional bezel
And of course that great looking yellow honeycomb dial and its solid credentials.
So, only a few days after hitting the ‘check-out’ button, this was delivered (yeah, there was a DHL box as well..)
Inside this (well, after I had the strap changed, it comes with a metal bracelet fitted / which could not be swapped by Scurfa because Paul apparentlt is offshore right now :)

So, happy as an 8-year old with my new toy :-) Really lights up my day / makes me smile. And waddayaknow: the actual sun has come out just now!

Awesome watch and congrats. You make very good arguments for getting one.
My no new watch summer resolution may be over though if it takes a month to clear customs like my straps from the UK (1 month and counting), it will be a fall watch when delivered.
