What diver would you recommend under £$5k?

Looking for a daily diver ( no tudor had a bb58):

  1. At least 200m water resistance

  2. Date complication

  3. Under 40mm

  4. 20mm lug width, strap monster

  5. Versatile as possible

  6. Cosc preferred but not essential

  7. Budget max £$ 5k

  8. Nothing vintage

I like the suggestion of the Formex Reef, but you will need to wait until the new one is out for those dimensions. The CW is another great pic. I am going to throw out a change up: Monta Skyquest. What no OceanKing? Hear me out. First look at it:

Comes in a few variants; Opaline, Gilt, or Black. Pepsi and Coke dials.

  • 300M WR

  • Date

  • 40.7, but wears smaller

  • Best bracelet under $5K

  • 20mm lugs

  • Looks good on a ton of straps

Now, it has a 24 hour bezel vs. countdown, so not sure if that matters.

I would say an Aquis 39.5, but it has limited straps. You could try the Hydroquest

This will be from left field, but it technically checks all the boxes (Nomos adjust to cosc accuracy although they don't send their watches in for testing).
