Hello my fello watch kings and queens I have been presented with an opportunity to purchase an Alpina Alpiner 4 and I must say it is a lovely peace however I have never had any experience with the brand can anyone enlighten me?

Started collecting about 8 years ago with the usual fashion brands and then started to look at YouTube videos and fell down the rabbit hole

Personally probably one of my favorite brand of watches. You can find some great Swiss made pieces for a fraction of the price.
Alpina Watches is a Swiss watch brand. Alpina was founded in 1883 and since 2002 is owned by the watch company Frederique Constant. Alpina started its “4” sports watches collection in 1938, with (at that time) innovative features such as anti-magnetism, anti-shock, water resistance.
