I keep talking myself out of this watch... why? Beautiful lume shot!

The lume is great.  The lume is one reason I am purchasing this watch.  What Pelagos  complication(s) drove you to buy the Pelagos?

Thank you! I can understand the hesitation for some on this piece but if your wrist is large enough then I would highly recommend. Only titanium piece on offer (love the lightweight feel), ceramic bezel (with lume) and deeper depth rating than most (if you're into that and/or dive).

Happy to hear from a fellow Pelly-bro :) there's a few reasons I went with the Pelagos LHD: Titanium and lightweight despite the size, ceramic bezel, depth rating, matte finish and roulette date wheel... But most importantly, Im a lefty and this model spoke to me with that one feature in mind.

Oh, I am the guy that doesn't understand why all other features & stats have been updated on dive watches except depth rating.  The pieces are higher priced because of new features but depth rating sits at 200m.  Lots of people who disagree mention the Pelagos FXD and the French Navy or ask me if I need saturation dive gear... I always ask why they purchased the updated Speedie with new movements and Crystal. Are they planning an EVA this week? Or maybe walk on the Moon? Higher rating and tighter tolerances on any dive gear supports longer life/use. 500m is awesome

Hah! Yeah I get where you’re coming from, and in most cases 200m is plenty enough but in the case of the FXD I really don’t understand why they downgraded from 500 to 200m just to save a mill or two on thickness but then increase thickness due to watch band sitting under case… not really a fan of the FXD for a few reasons 😅
