I just don't understand how watches like this can be sold at prices like this.  And since they can, I don't understand why everybody else wants you to pay so much more for something similar.

Labor costs, refinement, finishing, and reputation.

I don't think those things added together justify the difference, but maybe it's just me.  To me the real thing is that everybody acts like it take divine intervention to produce a micro-rotor movement, and it therefor has to cost a bajillion dollars.
