I was on the BBC learning of tax u-turns and clocked the UK Chancellor of the Exchequers timepiece. Any idea as to what it might be?

I'm so baffled by this (also by his policy but I'm not a Brit so I'll defer comment).  Wasn't he an ex hedge fund guy?  Of all the types of folks who would have a pretty great watches, I feel like a ex finance type would overperform there.

Even if we're going for a man of the people vibe, an Orient or a Seiko, or if a UK pride thing...Rotary or Accurist.

I'm so confused by this watch on so many levels.
