Cracked crystal scare!

Yeah, I almost freaked when I look down and saw a crack on the crystal of my skipper. Stupid thread from my ESD jacket LOL…

I walked out to my brand new truck year before last during Christmas and thought some one keyed it. Was a piece of tinsel. I think my boys were screwing with me. Lol

I’ve done exactly the same thing. Raised BP only to find out it’s not cracked nor scratched! I have a RP glassbox and absolutely love it. TH has really scored with this line of Carreras.

Is that an aftermarket bracelet? I didn’t know you could get the skipper on anything but the blue strap…

That watch is awesome!

I understand the feeling

Woww nice Skipper well I think I would have also had a heart attack because at first glance it looks like the glass would have broken.

If you are wearing and ESD jacket, are you grounded with a strap as well? I’m asking because when I wore a few of my non-Gauss rated automatics with my ESD strap I’d see a drop in accuracy. Even with wearing the strap on the other wrist.

No, I’m in management and it’s rare for me to put on a strap and plug in now days. I do have my ESD shoes on usually. Never thought about grounding haveing an effect. I am around a lot of electronic equipment, electrical motors and robots. That I am wary of. But not much I can due about it. I have a demagnetizer at home if I notice a watch starting to run real fast I can run it by that.
