I experimented with “skeletonizing” the train bridge on my ST36, pleased with the results!
Took me about an hour or so, started by marking where I thought I could start removing material, and then I slowly filed away with my tiny little hand me down files. I cleaned off the filings, oiled the pivots and away it ticks.
