SOTC/New Watch Box

Finally finished building my new watch box. Didn’t touch it for over a year, not really sure why though?

Grain wrapped walnut with drawer sliced out of the bottom. Flocked the inside and dividers.

Honestly toughest part was layout with watch pillows. Either make sure own or buy them first.

Oh yeah some watches in there too.

Top Left Empty(maybe getting filled soon?) Bulova Marine Star I bought before I got into collecting, Fossil from Wife, Selectron(odd piece from Watch Gang), Company Gift for 100th Anniversary of Praxair my former employer, Another piece from Watch Gang.

Bottom Row, wooden watch from Wife, Citizen ToughMaster(beater), Axwell, Mechanical w/compass bezel from WG, Bulova Open Heart wedding first from wife, Jack Mason Americana from Launch, Tissot Corturier Day Date(everyday to keep wear and tear from wedding watch).

Flocking was a new challenge.

What was the most difficult part of flocking?

Well I’ve never done it before, glue/paint dried really fast so there are some thin spots in it.

Beautiful box and my next investment is a winder

I have a cheap box/winder from Amazon. One wonder crapped out, going to reuse the winder that works into a matching wonder box
