Latest bits off the Gasworks bench...
This 7009-4040 came to me looking and feeling very sorry for itself. Excuse gridlines... it didn't come with those...
After a thorough clean (much arm cheese was present), a service and a full case/ strap refurb it's now a much happier little soul and is running very nicely.
I've also finished refurb work on @Deeperblue's Citizen V2 SevenStar. It's running nicely and now has its very own date window. The very unusual glass could probably do with replacing but finding a good one is as likely as me offering the chance to change my WC name to "DirtySexSlave" in an auction.
Next up, after winning the biggest ever WC poll with the title "Which one next?" is this 7009-8060. The quick set date doesn't work and it's running very fast. But, once complete, it should look sexier than the mayor of sexy town on national sexy day.
Still waiting on parts for a few other bits and bobs.

The parts I'm waiting for are replacements for knackered bits. Some of it is difficult to find. All adds to the challenge. 😁
