That went well....

So, I decided to pull the trigger on a new watch. I didn't want to spend 1000s as I'm still aiming at the JLC Polaris Mariner by the end of the year. I was looking for something with a red dial and possibly German... a few threads on here have sewn seeds. Anyway, after much looking and umming and ahhing, I ended up with this...

As you can see it's very red and oh so German 🙄

So, £500 spent, another Seiko added, still no red dial, still no German brand; I'm no good at this.

I'll post one when it arrives 🙂

Along with the red shades… just add umlauts where needed. It’s a Sëikö Sämüräi. Its so German now you’ll be hankering for a good schnitzel and pils.👌 Congrats on the new watch!

I am relatively new to the hobby (1 year since I seriously descended to this fun but  expensive journey) and goal for the next few months was to add anything but another Seiko in the ”low cost“ portion (already have….err had 4) of the collection. However, after 3 straight shots of bourbon (midweek “relaxation”) last night, I ended up ordering Negroni, SRPE41, arriving on Monday. Rationale, admittedly under influence 😊, “I need to see if I like red/maroon color as it would help me decide whether to get the new Omega 57 maroon/red or go for other color ways”!

Also, this is my first post on this site.  Nice to meet you all.
