Doing freaking ALGEBRA over here trying to get my bracelet size dialed in with 6.5mm half links and 10mm full links. I can only make changes +/-3mm minimum. It’s either way too loose or just a touch too snug. Grand Seiko please I just need 1 or 2mm of micro adjustment please, please I beg you 🙏 Also, Grand Seiko Dealer wants $150 for one half-link

I'm relieved to know I'm not alone in noticing that their so-called "half link" isn't actually half the size of a regular link. It's baffling and creates confusion when trying to size the bracelet, especially for someone like me who often finds themselves between sizes.
I have got 2 free half links in the past, so I called preemptively recently for my Night Birch I just got it. They said they never did that for ti watches, but they do still do it for steel watches if requested
