Underrated Sinn models and where to try them on

Sinn’s 556, 104, and U50 models are widely praised by enthusiasts, but what are some of the lesser known models someone in the market for a Sinn should check out? And is there a place in the metro NYC area where these models can be seen and tried on?

Unfortunately, there is only one AD for Sinn in the US and they’re online only, I believe. The AD is watchbuys.

While they’re online only, they do have a very good return policy so that you can buy/try then return if you don’t like it, within a certain timeframe.

Watchbuys used to have ‘road shows’, where they went from city to city to showcase the Sinn models and you can try them on. It stopped during COVID, but last I checked, they were trying to bring it back. Check their website.

I’m a big fan of the 144 and the 356, especially the UTC variants. The 144 can be had for a good deal if you are patient, and the 356 UTC is unfortunately discontinued.

Edit: Here is the 144 before I sold it. I still love the watch but it’s a bit too heavy for my likings.

Don't remember the name, but they had a square, Santos inspired full tegimented auto that looked cool.

Sinn 6060 Frankfurt World Time looks cool if you are into a GMT type watch.
