No problem with quartz watches (I have many), but the collector in me goes for the mechanical watches.
If I wanted a watch purely for utilitarian reasons, then it would be a solar quartz by Citizen, Casio or Seiko...
Not bothered as long as it's a good looking watch and is fit for purpose
Quartz is best. Then hand wind. Automatic is the worst (except for the people that actually want thick, heavy watches ).
