First quarter SOTC update

Hey WC, I just wanted to share how the collection is going thus far for 2024. I currently have 10 watches in my watch box and I feel like 10 is an appropriate number, but I have been Contemplating moving to 12. The reason why I want to move to 12, is because I have a Glycine Airman Noon floating around that I was 50/50 on, but started to realize it may be a keeper. I am very comfortable with my collection right now and feel like I have an excellent variety of watches type/brand/dials. Starting with the top left: 1. Orient Kamasu LE

2. Zelos Mako V3 Ti

3. Longines Zulutime

4. Seiko Alpinist

5. Vostok Komandirskie

6. Hamilton Jazzmaster Chrono

7. Oris Big Crown Pointer-Date Bronze

8. Bulova Jet Star UK Edition

9. Smiths Trans-Global

10. Junghans Max Bill PVD

11. Glycine Airman Noon

Ive been looking at the glycine airman noon! How do you like it so far? Does it feel premium, or right for the price, or cheap feeling? Thanks!

It doesn't feel cheap at all. It's actually a really nice watch. My issues are more preferential than anything.

That’s great to hear! Will be ordering the airman soon then. What were your personal issues with it?

I think the crown is too small, its hard to hand wine, due to my big hands. The date window is also small, so it has a huge cyclops, which makes reading the date easier but distorts the 6/15min markers. And mines came running fast. I don't love how skinny the numerals are on the bezel, I would have preferred a more embolden font. And the legibility isn't great, but that's due to the dial I choose. I'm sure other dials aren't as bad.

All that said, its still a great watch. I love the heritage and history of the line. It's probably the most unique and historic watch in my collection.
