THE COLLECTIVE WISDOM OF WC

I need the big brains out there!

Anybody recognize the maker of this watch? My reverse image search was unsuccessful.

It's part of an online auction lot that I won today and though it's not the one that drew my attention I'd still like to know what it is before it arrives in a week or two.

WC bragging rights and an invisible "Watch Sleuth" badge to the Cruncher that solves the mystery.

TIA!

Have never seen before. Could be a dial that was customized for a corporation as a giveaway or reward watch.

Wondering if there is a name for the inverted triangle on triangle such as that used for the delta or infinity symbols.

·

The triangles seem to form an hour glass? 🤔

That is a GREAT observation!

Well, I’ve exhausted my meager resources with nothing to show for it. Unless possibly it’s a knockoff of MVMT🤣

Not sure if the one you purchased has been modded as I was not aware that the titanium case was available in black PVD/DLC. The strap could be a TC-9 strap, but I have loads of them and that one does not look familiar to me.

They also made this watch in open dial format "skeleton"...

Thank you very much for such a thorough rundown! I'm not surprised one bit that not only do you know that but that you own watches by them as well!

I got lucky that the whole lot was $60 plus fees and that it included the Seiko Giugiaro that I was angling for.

Hope you're making it out to the OC Chrono gathering at Auto Addiction but if not I'd love to take you both out when you're free. Thanks again!
