Formex Essence 39
I am considering a Formex Essence 39 in green for my next purchase. Unfortunately, I do not live close to an AD and so cannot try it on my 6.75” wrist to see how it feels. Retail is about $1400 and resale seems to be about $400-$500 less.
Curious if anyone here has experience with this watch / brand?

Take the plunge.
Bought the 39 mm Essence a month back, rocking it today and very pleased with my purchase.
Sits well on my 6.25 inch wrist, the 3 link bracelet drapes nicely, feels comfortable, looks clean (thing very modern Omega AquaTerra). The COSC spec is not just a marketing claim, the watch keeps excellent time (+2 secs/day).
Do not buy it for the "case on suspension" feature, unless you always wear your watch below the wrist bone, but it removes nothing from its qualities.

On my short list, I might pull the trigger if I could get one at a discount. 5% from Island Watch is all I can find. Only found one on Ebay, but in blue, not white. Super nice watch.

I'm really torn between an Essence 39 vs spending a lot more and getting an Omega AT. Just not sure an AT is "that much better" (movement aside and not something i particularly care about) to warrant the much higher cost. The Essence bracelet seems to be head and shoulders better than the Omega and obviously the brand name of Omega carries a lot of weight.

Directly on Formex, shipping, taxes and duties are included in the 1500 price tag. On Long Island, with a 5% off it’s lower but taxes bring it right back up to about 1500 :(
