Tissot PRX, a watch made for a quartz movement?

Personally I would choose the Quartz instead the auto on this one.

I agree, I bought the mechanical and it just isn't worth the extra money.

Yes, the price difference between the quartz and the autos was too big for my wallet, but the waffle dial sure is tempting

Great review Eric ! I like them, maybe second hand one day.

Thanks weedge. Second hand is a great way to add to a collection. I’m all about a good deal.

I wish the Quartz version came with that waffle dial. That really is good looking

You can say that it's a good strategy to make us want the auto more

I'd say the powermatic 80 movement makes it worth it. You'd have to spend way more to get a watch with similar finish and equivalent movement

I completely agree. The PRX started out as a quartz in the 1970s and the modern version is great in quartz.

I love my quartz PRX in blue. Looks cool, set it and forget it, and it was hundreds less than the mechanical
