Great watch

Mine had basically no gap on the bracelet… vis-a-vis the bezel, couple of drops of silicon grease and it’s perfectly fine.

Hey Jamie. Good to know. I was hoping the watch I got wasn’t common with its issues. I expect more from orient.

The bezel is pretty damn tight — wasn’t too bad at first, but over time — I think it’s just made that way, and a splodge of oil/grease def sorts it. Like many sloped bezels, it’s easier to grip at twelve and six, and it has to be secure on your wrist to hold watch in place as it turns. Can get a nail in the notches too, if really stuck. It’s just made super tight, as part of the design rather than a flawed mechanism I think.

You may be able to sort the gap on bracket by adjusting the folded links. Even Rolex weren’t consistently using solid end links till twenty ten, so the Mako is quite retro in style.
