You do realize that Timex made that model in the 80s? Back when all of the companies were copying each other, and the Casio might be a copy of the Timex. Both are quite possibly copies of Citizen or Seiko models...
I get that in today's social media world influencers get people to imagine Casio invented digital watches, but they were/are just one player in the game.
Timex is a far older, and more historic brand.
It reminds me of a watch my first wife bought me as an engagement present. I think it was a Citizen. I no longer have either 🙄
