The Start brand is the first soviet watch brand . From the limited info that I could find this is one of the first models . Made aprox in the 50s
The Soviet Union purchased the Dueber-Hampden watch company in 1930 and moved it over to the Soviet Union. It became the First Moscow Watch Factory. Unsure of the Start watch Company history.

Start was owned by Raketa(Petrovorets Watch Factory). But the production of the Start brand was moved to the second watch factory in Moskow
