Anyone else had issues?

Picked this VHP up in May preowend and was spot on to the second up until 2 weeks ago. Second hand started fluttering so I figured battery needed replacement. Took it back to place of purchase for replacement battery,  free of charge, and picked it up yesterday.  It's a full 41 seconds off today where it wasn't missing a beat before. Curious if anyone has run into the same problem and what it took to correct it? Any info is much appreciated!  A bit crazy that my Helm with the NH35 movement has been more accurate the the VHP quartz for sure.

That doesn’t sound right. V.H.P. should mean this won’t happen. 🧐

Something is wrong. Part of the problem buying a watch out of warranty. Probably needs fixing, but not really worth the cost. Quartz watches are not immune from problems despite what some people may think.

I find it suspicious that this happened right after the battery change. I haven't changed the battery on a V.H.P., but depending which movement in question, you can do real damage if not careful. I'm not sure how reputable the place of purchase is, but otherwise it may have to go back to Longines.

So sorry this happened. It is a beautiful piece. I would bring it to Longines Service Centre to assess the damage.

I was told it was still under warranty when purchased, and I've bought new and preowend from the dealer before so I trust them. But like everyone has mentioned Longines probably should have don't the swap. Just didn't want to be without it for a couple months sending it back to Switzerland. Probably inevitable at some point in this hobby of ours. Thanks for all the advice here! Have a great day.

 Cheers
