Agree. Very funny because on my app there was this thread followed by a poll about which watch would retain value better. I measure the ROI of my watches in my own feelings, not any future cash income from their sale. I don’t own many watches, but I’m also yet to sell any 😜

Damn! Hard choice. I would go the Longines in blue, but that is just my preference. Both look amazing and by all reports are amazing watches!

I have one CW and am looking at a second in the coming months. From a brand perspective I love their approach to business. One of their key values is around transparency and honesty with their customers. This cover everything from their design and manufacturing to their pricing model.

This leads me on to their next strength due to their pricing model, unbelievable quality for the price. I am still amazed at the quality of my CW and it has converted a number of friends that have higher value watches to CW too.

Finally, design. I am a big fan of the recent design language. This may not be the case if I look back into their archives, but their last few years are full of big hits to my eye.

I agree with Seiko suggestions. However, I would go a King Turtle or King Samurai. They are so solidly built that they will go for a VERY long time.

I'll echo this with my King Samurai, it feels so solid. It is the most solid and indisctructible feeling watch I own, maybe I should nickname it the Hilux (that will not make sense in every country).
