Watching I Like Watches on YouTube.
Presenter said that some companies that use Snowflake hands are receiving letters from Tudor stating that the snowflake hands are trademarked. โข
Amused me, in that the term snowflake also means someone who is too easily offended and complains if offended.
Seems rather mean spirited to me, but that is just my opinion.
On the plus side, less watches with Snowflake hands, which are so ugly, it would stop me buying a watch with them.
Cat amongst the pigeons springs to mind.
Wonder if any snowflakes will take offence? ๐ค๐๐๐คฃ๐๐คฃ๐
Slightly eccentric, wicked sense of humour. Unpopular with management... unpopular with woke management. They've say I'm too blunt. I just say it straight, don't waste words. Luckily for them, I'm ret...
I, for one, am glad Tudor is sticking up for their perceived IP. Itโs pretty cute of them to think the Chinese IP thieves will cease and desist. As I understand it, itโs pretty much impossible to successfully defend IP in the Chinese legal system. Their whole industrial base is built up around IP theft. Hell, their frontline nuclear missle system has counterfeit labels that say โChina-killer 2000โ on it (that part was a joke told by Dennis Miller).
I personally like the snowflake hands, each to their own isnโt it. A Tudor is a Tudor, but sounds like they are getting precious over something menial to me
Does my hand offend you my dear snowflake ๐
As a "hater" of the snowflake hands, if they can defend this bit of IP, good!
It's doubtful that they can, but good luck trying.

I always found the snowflake hour hand odd, but over time itโs popularity has won me over!
Trademarks should be fought for but fighting the millions of forgers is futile.
Too late. ๐
