Anyone know what model this is? It works well when lying on a flat surface but the hands slide backwards when on my wrist.
I got an estimate from TOTAL WATCH REPAIR for $275 to fix the Watch, but no way would I pay that for a Citizen.
Is this some kind of vintage Citizen rarity? I can’t find any info on it.

Citizen 8200 movement.

The symptoms make it seem that parts need replacement, so I don't think the estimate is unreasonable. You could probably find a used movement (maybe even new) and swap it in, but that might not really save that much or offer better results.
It's a nice dial and the condition looks good. Would you buy it again for that price?
Not a rare movement, but the overall watch looks good. The repair estimate is reasonable for what needs to be done, its worth can only be determined by you. Good luck deciding.

This watch was given to me as a “throw-in” with others in a recent trade, so no, I wouldn’t put out $275 for repair.
Since it runs well when not on my wrist, I’m assuming the hands are merely loose.
