This watch used to belong to my mom. My grandfather bought her, himself, and my aunt the same watch. Haste is a Mexican brand that imported and distributed Swiss made watches so the movements are solid. This one has day, month, pointer date, and moon phase complications that are set with the four buttons at the 2, 4, 8, and 10.
Anyone have other Haste watches?

Great looking watch. I like the triple calendara with moonphase.

I agree. It’s quite good looking. I’m curious to look at the movement but I don’t have my tools with me so I’ll have to wait until I get back home on Sunday
Excellent! Great watch and great story
What a treasure that is! 👌
Oh that’s really really cool
In fact, Haste is a Mexican brand that assembled and equipped its watches with Swiss calibers. Harry Steele was founded in the 1920s, also founding the company Steelco that produced more youthful watches to enter the youth watch market. Haste achieved a great fame in the 50s and 60s and was even somewhat linked to Omega in those years Haste survived until the 80s succumbing to the quartz crisis
That's really nice!

Thank you for the Harry Steele explanation. When I first read "Haste", I thought of "Make haste slowly", i.e. "Festina lente", which gave us the brand Festina.

Thanks for that info buddy. Still trying to learn more about the brand. I found some posts on quora and Reddit. When I get back home I’ll open it up to check the caliber
