I was rather excited over the arrival of my Oris Divers 65 Heritage a week ago and I decided to order this book. I expected a glorified catalogue in all honesty but I’m rather impressed. There’s the usual coffe-table-book quality pictures of vintage and modern stuff, pictures of the Oris HQ, and some stuff like that, but there is also a fair amount of history and non-Oris related stuff.
Overall I’m enjoying reading it quite a bit so far and I am completely smitten with the watch.

Thanks for this post! I was curious about it. How much useful text is there?
Would be ok taking a photo of a typical full-text open book just to get the impression across? You could blur it a bit in editing so you’re not harming copyright.
Well, anyway, thanks!

There’s a pretty good amount of text, more than I expected. They did a few interviews with some of the folks in the company and a solid history of Swiss watchmaking outside of Oris. @Balanced
Thanks for sharing. I’m always looking for new watch books
