Moonphase no worky: Seakoss Double Tourbillon

Hi crunchy watch nerds, I just got this new watch in today from AE, Red Star Store, for $760USD minus tax, shipping. It’s a simple winder only, two hands time, double Tourbillon, and Moonphase. The Moonphase doesn’t turn, move, etc no matter what I do with the crown action, or time setting and watchful waiting to see if it moves with passage of my precious time. It’s like a f*cking useless decoration. Does anyone know if this is normal or is it a defect that is abusing my OCD to no end? I have a good mind to return. Get this, the instruction booklet was for a different single turbulent movement, with features mine does not have, and made for an Aesop. Seakoss uses a Hangzhou movement, I’m thinking return and get Aesop or Sugess which has a Seagull movement, which I can personally attest to be highly accurate. I got this one for a different Chinese movement maker, and to add a Tourbillon to my mechanical collection, but not if it’s got decals and non functional decorations, something I detest. What’s anyone know about the Moonphase BS on this make and model? Many extra crunchy thanks

Maybe it's fixed and just for decoration?

I’m afraid you’re right. It’s already starting to grow on me, despite the Moonphase or day/night indicator being for looks on that part of dial real estate

Am I the only one that's sees.....yanno?

Yeah, I think it’s a decoration and it’s the tip of the sun, and it doesn’t turn or move

I’d return it if it was mine…because that faux complication wouldn’t set right with me. I got my Forsining for $47.17 total and its sun-moon complication works beautifully. As for my automatics it’s as accurate as my Wenger with an ETA 2824-2. A testament that more expensive does not mean better.
