A New-Old Stock Musical Clock (of sorts)!

Ok…so I had to show somebody my new acquisition. Why not the Watchcrunch Universe?

Behold my new-old stock iPod from 2009! This is complements of my best friend. She loves to buy things, never use them…and then put them in a drawer for years untouched!

This little guy is slick! It has a clock, stopwatch, timer, fitness tracker, video/audio player and recorder…and even games. Of course, its 8 gigs of memory hold up to 2000 songs — but hey…that’s beside the point.

Noticeably thinner, smaller and lighter than my 1st generation mechanical scroll wheel iPod (I waited in line for November, 2001), it also holds 1000 more songs (though admittedly no MP3 player will ever best my beloved 1st gen iPod).

It was a pleasure to name my new little buddy in iTunes and transfer a portion of my library to it. The battery still holds a good charge…so I think this little player may be successfully added to my devices that tell time in the most happy-go-lucky fashion!

Thanks for regailing my post! Do you have a favorite old MP3 player that also tells the time?

Other than the iPod Nano, which you can wear as a watch, this is one of the better iPod models. Nice NOS acquisition.

A couple weeks ago, I found these cleaning out my (now adult) son's former bedroom before he flew home for Xmas.

The best ever product Apple made, bar none in my opinion.

It really is a beautifully-made device. I forgot how gorgeous Apple stuff was back in the golden resurgence years.
